Biography
Laurence Laurent is a Haitian Christian solo singer, composer, songwriter and guitarist. She was born in Port au Prince Haiti on December 7th 1971. She came to United States of America in the year of 2000. She grew up in a Christian family and started to sing at the age of 5. Her father, Pastor Pierre Laurent, has knowledge in music and plays the accordion and the keyboard. Her mother, Jeannelia D. Laurent (deceased) was a very good singer in her choir group when she was young. Laurence is the third of a family of 4 children. Rodrigue Laurent, the oldest, plays drums and the keyboard. Raymond Laurent, the second, plays bass and Jeanine Laurent, the youngest, also sings very well. Laurence has traveled in different countries; Germany, Canada and France.

Before she left her country, she was the maestro of an a cappella group for five years. Now she is working on her first album which will be released by the beginning of 2010. Actually, she has a beautiful song titled “You Need The Lord”. It plays on YouTube, MySpace, Dailymotion, youku and also on different radio stations.
